Rules:

Stuff about me:

1. I adore old-style cartoons, especially classic Mickey Mouse ones. I also really like retraux-style(like, fake retro) cartoons, like modern ones styled after cartoons from the 20's and 30's. My favorite of these that I've seen is The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat. Man that show is trippy!

2. I like surrealism to an extent, and this ties in with the love for old cartoons. I like classic 'toons because they are weird and defy reality while still abiding some standard rules of it. I haven't done surreal pictures in quite some time, but I'm considering picking them up again because they're so fun to do. But I don't like really scary surrealism either, if it's TOO weird it'll freak me out. Example: Cat Soup. That terrified me when I was younger. XD

3. Usually when I pick a favorite character in things, I tend to stick with male characters, particularly young protagonists that are silly. Which is kind of ironic since nearly all of my own characters are actually female. Bonus fact; these are the male characters from my own projects that I can remember: Alexander, Coralon, Kor'Shen, Sammix, Lo'riel, Tauri, Liam, Fekherin(does he count? he's a demon cat thing)... and I think that's it. I can count them on my hands! O: I need to make more male characters, hehe.

4. I draw for fun. I do it because I enjoy it. I may draw a lot of fan art, but it's because I'm enthusiastic about the subject material. I don't draw it for pageviews or faves(although faves and comments are certainly appreciated, and I admit that it can be fun watching the numbers go up!). Sometimes I wish I spent more time on my original projects, but getting inspiration for them can be difficult, whereas fan art is easier because I don't have to think about it as much.

5. I'm a closet slash fangirl. Yep. xD I don't post or fave slashy things on this deviantART account(for the most part; maybe innocent fluff, but that's it unless I forgot to delete some faves from a while ago ._.) because I'm a chicken, but I do submit some on one or two of my Tumblr blogs every now and then. I'm not sure where I stand on ORIGINAL character slash, or whether I would submit it to this account... it shouldn't offend people as much if it isn't controversial fan art and the original characters are legitimately gay/bi... right?

Now onto answering questions...

1.  What's your favorite flavor of cupcake?

That's a tough one. I've only ever really had vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, and I like both! But I guess I'd lean towards vanilla, because I like the smell/taste/whatever-it-is of vanilla, and if I have too much chocolate I start to feel sick. :s

2. Cats or dogs? REASON?!

Cats. I don't have much against dogs, I just really like cats better. I've been drawing cat characters and stuff since I was a little kid, and I was even drawing cats themselves when I barely knew what they were! I find kitties absolutely adorable and I live with five of them. I love all of them. They are each special in their own way. <3

3. If you were a magic 8 ball what would you say?

Maybe so. (because I'm wishy-washy and can't ever decide on things XD)

4. POOF! You're a magical unicorn… what's the first thing you do?

Uh... flail around because my brain can't correspond to the different body parts and how to move them? XD

6. OH NO! Zombie apocalypse! The item to your immediate left is your only weapon! What is it and how screwed are you?

Well, looks like I'm stuck between a choice of a digital alarm clock, a retainer case, a small plastic lamp, my tablet pen, or my bedside table on which all of them rest. The most helpful thing would be the table because it's heavy, but I can't lift it because I'm out of shape and I don't know if I could even if I wasn't. I guess I'll just whack things over the head with the alarm clock or stab them with my tablet pen...? Yeah, I'm pretty much screwed. XD

7. The main good guy and main bad guy of the last show you watched/game you played are your adoptive parents… what are you in therapy for?

Let's see... the last game I played was World of Warcraft... I guess that means my adoptive fathers are Deathwing and Thrall(because I really like Thrall and he's a good guy and yeah)? I don't even want to start thinking about how many things would be wrong with me because of Deathwing. o^o

9. What's your fave pairing and why?

Let's see... I'm gonna go with Legend of Zelda pairings for now. My favorite pairing that could theoretically actually happen is Link x Zelda from Spirit Tracks. I just think they're adorable! And my current favorite crack pairing is Vaati x Zelda from the Minish Cap, courtesy of ~painted-tears...

10. What model of computer are you using right now?

I am using an old model of a MacBook Pro that is running Snow Leopard(version 10.6.8).

Life is like... life. I don't know how else to describe it. Aren't I imaginative?
